Structure of EMRSs
Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) are well-structured institutions designed to provide quality education to tribal students. Each school is equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and hostels. The infrastructure supports both academic and extra-curricular development. EMRSs maintain a student-teacher ratio conducive to personalized learning and are run by trained staff who focus on student-centric teaching. Emphasis is also placed on preserving tribal culture alongside mainstream education.

Applications are invited from eligible ST (Scheduled Tribe) students for Lateral Entry Admission into Classes VII, VIII & IX in various EMRS located in Malkangiri District for the academic session 2025-26 for the limited vacant seats.

* Maximum age limit can be relaxed by 2 years for differently abled children.

How to Apply:
  • Application forms can be collected from the nearest EMRS or downloaded from the website.
  • Submit the filled form to the same EMRS.
